In 1993, the Human Genome Project, one of the most ambitious science projects in human history began, and it was an international effort to map the entire human genome. The success that was the Human Genome Project project broke barriers in the field of biochemistry, and medical biology,  by allowing many genetic ailments that once haunted humanity to be cured, including many types of cancer and advancing those fields. It paved the way for revolutionary new technologies to emerge, such as CRISPR and illness forecasting. Shortly after the Human Genome Project, a huge number of genetic diseases were eradicated, along with the creation of technologies in the fields of biochemistry, genetics, and medical biology. In the future, CRISPR, a technology indirectly created by the Human Genome Project, promises to cure most or all ailments, as well as genetically modifying humans and propelling the sciences even further.

The fields of biochemistry, genetics, and medical biology will most likely create amazing new technologies to further our species in the future.
